Welcome to Ripon Middle School and Catalyst Charter Middle School!
It is my pleasure to serve the students and community of the Ripon Area School District. I have been in the district my entire career serving the high school as a teacher of Physical Education/Driver Education and Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. In preparation for my position as principal, I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Marian University.
My experience as a high school assistant principal has given me great insight into what students will need and experience beyond the middle school. I understand the critical importance of preparing our students for their future. The middle years are exciting times for students and educators. As a parent of two daughters, I remember the challenges and opportunities that develop when working with adolescents in the classroom and at home. They bring an energy and enthusiasm that keeps us on the move.
In addition to academic success, we also teach our students about the importance of being good citizens, being responsible, and showing respect. We use Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) as a way to help students learn and practice appropriate behaviors in school.
Ripon Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. RMS students receive core instruction in math, science, social studies, and language arts. The seven-period day allows students to also explore options in music, art, technology education, and physical education.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions, comments, or concerns.
