My name is Mr. Bill Kinziger, principal of Ripon High School. I have been in Ripon for 25 years, first as a government and history teacher, then as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, and now as the Ripon High School Principal.
I am married to Linda, and we have two children who attended and graduated from Ripon Schools. Linda is the Director of Financial Aid at Ripon College; Kali lives in Madison and is employed in marketing; Jack is attending graduate school in Eau Claire. Both of our children graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mocha, our lovable German Shorthair, loves to take walks, run, and chase rabbits and squirrels when she is not snuggled in one of our laps.
Ripon High School is home to 500 students for the 2023-2024 school year. We have an amazing staff that genuinely works with every student in order for each of them to reach their full potential. Last semester 98.8% of all classes taken were passed, which is a credit to our students and staff. The classes we offer are rigorous and teach students transferable skills that will serve them well in the future. We also offer unique education and career pathways tailored to each student. Whether it is taking college/tech ed classes, classes online, or spending time in their career field through our Youth Apprenticeship program, each student has opportunities to find a path that meets their needs and goals. We are proud to have over 20 different clubs and activities that students can participate and numerous athletic teams.
