My name is Mr. Bill Kinziger, principal of Ripon High School. I have been in Ripon for 27 years, first as a government and history teacher, then as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, and now as Principal of Ripon High School.
I am married to Linda, and we have two children who attended and graduated from Ripon Schools. Linda is the Director of Financial Aid at Ripon College; Kali lives in Madison and is employed in marketing; Jack also lives in Madison and is employed as a school psychologist. Both of our children graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mocha, our lovable German Shorthair, loves to take walks, run, and chase rabbits and squirrels when she is not snuggled in one of our laps.
Ripon High School is home to 440 students for the 2025-2026 school year. We have an amazing staff that genuinely works with every student to help each one reach their full potential. Last semester, 98.7% of all classes taken were passed, a testament to the efforts of our students and staff. The classes we offer are rigorous and teach students transferable skills that will serve them well in the future. We also offer unique education and career pathways tailored to each student. Whether it involves taking college or tech ed classes, taking classes online, or spending time in their career field through our Youth Apprenticeship program, each student has opportunities to find a path that meets their needs and goals. We are proud to offer over 20 different clubs and activities for students to participate in, as well as numerous athletic teams.
